FAQs

How do I report a issue?

Send the issue report to [email protected].

Make sure to include all the relevant information required to replicate and possibly resolve the issue.

Such information may include the following:

• Description and steps to replicate issue
• Repository name and latest commit
• Operating system and version
• Installed SDKs and version
• Environment variables
• Screenshots

How do I contribute to a project?

Send a contribution request to [email protected].

For single-time contributions you can use git format-patch to generate your patch request.
For active development provide your public SSH key, then you will receive a VPN profile to connect to the hosting service directly.

Where can I see the contribution graph?

Contribution statistics are available here.

This are broken down by year, repository, resource and author.
The statistics are updated periodically, so tracking latency is expected.

Cloning over HTTPS or SSH?

HTTPS cloning is intended for public use and provides read-only access.
SSH cloning is intended for contributors, which need prior authorization, and provides read-write access.

Why not GitHub or similar platforms?

I prefer to retain ownership of my source code and understand the whole software stack that manages it.
Part of this also means keeping a simpler and more basic platform, which is easy to study and rationalise.
This does not mean these platforms are invalid, but they are impossible to fully comprehend by a single individual.
